Doctor in TWO!

Yeah sorry about the terrible pun, I'm not in a punish mood today.
The beeb have announced that Matt Smith's second season of Doctor WHo will be split in half, half airing in the Spring, half in the Autumn.
The Lord and Moffster quotes: "The split series is hugely exciting because viewers will be treated to two premieres, two finales and more event episodes. For the kids it will never be more than a few months to the next Doctor Who! Easter, Autumn, Christmas!!"

Also in the magical press release, there was this paragraph: "The split transmission is the result of a request from Steven Moffat to write a new Doctor Who story arc which involves a big plot twist in the middle of the series. By splitting the series Moffat plans to give viewers one of the most exciting Doctor Who cliffhangers and plot twists ever, leaving them waiting, on the edge of their seats, until the autumn to find out what happens."

This, in my thoughts, is good news as next year will be packed with Who, but will it be too packed?
Here's how I see 2011...
April-May: Doctor Who Season "Six"
August/September: Torchwood S4
Late September-October: Doctor Who Season "Seven"
October/November-December: SJA S5
December: Doctor Who Christmas Special

This also means more merchendise: (figures etc.) So on the whole, YAY!

Meanwhile, Sherlock has officialy been re-comissioned for a Second Season of three ninty minute episodes in Autumn 2011! EVEN BETTER NEWS!

Also, if your a member of the Sherlocking forum, (if not CLICK HERE to go,) I am currently looking for submissions for a HUGE Sherlock volume, with the working title of "221b Baker Street: Volume One."

The new adventure game is also out. "TARDIS" is your opurtunity to explore the Doctor's Time Machine. However, from what I have read, (currently on holiday, and my laptop does not support the Adventure Games," it's very easy. Download it now from www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho.

And finnaly, I leave you with these AWSOME Simpsons Doctor Who charhcters from Springfield Punx which even caught the attention of the SUN! (Well, It's not that hard...)
His site is here, this will take you to all the posts labeled Doctor Who.
